London for a Day

My co-worker loves London.  Every time she flies to Europe, her first stop is London before jetting off to another country.  My husband and I went there back in 2011.  We took the Eurostar from Paris and all we had time to do for the day was sight see, but it was great for me because of all the architecture.

We walked so much.  From the train station to St. James Park to Westminster Abbey to the London Eye.  It was a lot of walking.

Below are just some of the pictures I snapped on our walking adventure.  Hope you enjoy!

When We Went to Chicago

Chicago is a beautiful city.  We had the opportunity to visit in 2012 when our friends got married in Omaha, Nebraska.  And since we were in the mid-west, we made it a point to see downtown Chicago.  We purchased the CityPass because it gained us entry into the Field Museum, Shedd Aquarium, Skydeck, Willis Tower, and the Art Institute of Chicago.  It was definitely a packed itinerary with a visit to Millennium Park, Lincoln Park Zoo, and gorging ourselves on deep dish pizza from Lou Malnati’s and Giordano’s.  It was a fun trip and we could definitely visit Chicago again.

Below are some of my favorite pictures from our trip.  Hope you enjoy!

Sydney, Australia – A Travel Must

It took 17 hours getting here from the San Francisco Bay Area.  Our first stop was Auckland, New Zealand and then a short flight over to Sydney.  Although it was a long travel day, it was worth the trip to be in the land down under.  Below are just a few pictures of our time there, and if there is a time to go, I’d say when they host Vivid Sydney.  The light shows are amazing!

Trip duration: 7 nights, 8 days (end of May 2017)

Paris for Art Lovers

For anyone traveling to Paris, I highly recommend the Museum Pass.  Not only do you get to bypass lines, you get access to some of the world’s best works of art.  Below are a few photos I was able to take from our trip back in September 2016.

Design Inspiration from Traveling

I’m by no means an accomplished architect or designer.  In fact, I’m still working on getting my license and developing my talent in architecture.  This post is really just to share a few of my travel photos, and why I make travel a priority – obviously for the inspiration.
